What is belief and how to strengthen it? Part 3

The question to be answered   is "how to develop your predominant thought to be in sync with whatever you want in life?" The answer is the human emotions or feeling. So whatever you are feeling, it is a feedback to you whether your predominant thoughts are on track or not. So now the next question is how to take charge of your feelings. In order to be in the right feeling stage, there are two options . First option is external source. External source may be in the form of watching videos or listening to your favorite music or reading inspirational books of your choice or interacting with people who have achieved something in life  or listening lectures on spirituality. The internal source is all about your dream or what is it, that you want to achieve in life. I always believe that internal source is the best way because it is self dependent and more you use it, the more stronger it will become. However,  sometimes you may choose the external source for inspiration to...

What is belief and how to strengthen it? Part 2

I believe that unless and until we do not have an experience involving ourselves, we cannot strengthen our belief. The point I am trying to drive home is that, when we undergo an experience personally, the effect on our mind will be manifold times more than just knowing about it. For instance let us consider a situation where you want to strengthen your belief on your self –confidence. You have option of reading books on self-confidence or go through several articles on self confidence on the internet or you can talk to successful people or you can watch videos on YouTube on self-confidence. But I believe that it finally boils down to your own experience where you have to display self –confidence. So let us say that you are working for an organization and your reporting manager has assigned you a very responsible job and the job involves   selecting the right person for a leadership role. Here you must   display self –confidence. In fact there is no option for you. T...

What is belief and how to strengthen it? Part1

Let us first understand what exactly is belief all about. So what is belief? I consider belief is all about a feeling that this is what it is , as in , a feeling of surity or assurance . Let me explain this with an example. Let us say a Person A has a belief that life is full of problems. For “A” life will always appear as a series of problems because that is his innate belief. Another person believes that life is very simple, obviously life will appear as simple for “B”. One point to be noted here is, whatever the belief exists in a person, the person will act according to it. So for “A” whatever happens whether good or bad, life will appear as a problem because that is what is reality for “A”. On the contrary, if something drastic happens in the life of “B”, he or she will interpret it always as simple. B will perceive that drastic thing as something inevitable in life and is very simple to overcome. So here one can clearly notice the difference in the approach of “A” and “B” ....

Latest generation Lifestyle

x It is my opinion and I would like to say that the lifestyle most of us are leading a lifestyle which is mostly dependent on other's perception about us. Right from the career we choose, to the clothes we wear are so much dependent on other's   opinion.   Just look at it. Let us consider the choice of a vehicle we want to purchase. Frankly speaking the main purpose of buying a vehicle is to make it helpful for us to move from one place to another.   Isn't it? But we focus more on the brand of the vehicle because if we buy a vehicle which is not trending then we will begin to feel that we may not be accepted. Let us say one wants to buy a car and his or her budget is around 4 to 5 lakhs. Let us say the person decides to buy an Alto car. But immediately right from the spouse, parents, relatives and friend’s perception begins to take an upper hand rather than the actual necessity. So the person is in a dilemma and begins to feel a sense of obligation to buy a hig...

Harnessing the vibrant energy in youth towards constructive activities: Part 2

Moving on from the first part, I would like to continue about how   the youth’s potential is getting wasted. People   have tagged certain professions such as Engineering. Medicine, Lawyer, Chartered Accountants, as the only profession which can give you respect in society. Some parents go to the extent of harassing their children to choose one of the mentioned professions. Isn’t this such a shame on us? I believe that God or whatever you call it, has made this world with something called unity in diversity. One must always consider any profession with equal respect. There is no profession in this world, which does not add value to society. Let us consider some professions like housekeeping. Just imagine nobody took up housekeeping. Imagine the state of affairs when you have a hotel and there is nobody to clean. The place will be full of mess and nobody will even think of entering it, even though it may be a 5 star or 7 star hotel. Now let us consider a driver’s profes...

Harnessing the vibrant energy in youth towards constructive activities: Part 1

x I believe that each and every human being possesses immense potential and this is unique to every human. The saddest part is we neither are aware of our own talent nor do we try to understand the hidden talent in us. Very few realize this and go on to become the great achievers in life and history stands a testimony to this. I strongly feel that this tapping our potential must happen at a very young age, particularly in the formative years when we have not yet reached adulthood. India is one country which has got the best demographic dividend , as in, the number of people who are below the age of 35 is very high. This is a very good news at one end and at the same time bad news at another end. The good news is that with so many youngsters in our country, we can make use of the talent together and create an amazing country. The bad news is , although our country is bubbling with so many youngsters, their mind has completely filled with unnecessary and unwanted stuff. I t...

Why training is important?

To answer the why training is important, first we must understand the nature of the human mind. If you have observed the nature of the mind is to go towards things which gives pleasure. Whether we call it pleasure or instant gratification or temporary happiness is purely subjective. Generally the mind will always go towards and run away from painful situations. It is also observed that another aspect of the mind is if certain thing is done repeatedly , the mind begins to accept that as the truth. For instance if you keep feeding mind that life is full of negativity and problems, by continuously feeding it through social media, television a, books, it will begin to accept it as the truth. Likewise, the same mind if fed with only positivity through social media, books and having interactions with optimistic people, the mind will begin to accept that life is full of positivity and possibilities. So the bottom line is whatever you feed the mind and if done repeatedly several times, t...
